This Abandoned Mansion was built around 200 years ago in a very quiet, secluded area in the mountain’s of upstate New York. The mansion was built with beautiful ornate designs such as woodwork carvings, railing designs, and custom hard wood floor patterns. In the later years of the Mansion’s life, a famous actress called this place home, however, she passed away in the 1990’s, which led to the Mansion being left abandoned after nobody took the property over. As of now, the mansion has been decaying for decades, with family belongings littering the house, black mold building up, and windows being broken by vandals. Despite the condition of the structure, it’s easy to tell the care, and passion that went into building this magnificent house and with many belongings and furniture left inside, it’s easy to make out the family’s lifestyle and taste. The future for this house is uncertain, but the beautiful historic house will likely continue to sit, silent in the woods for years to come.
note: I gave this album an alias name to protect the property from any vandalism, and out of respect for the history of the house and for the potential renovation that could take place one day.
